Easter was a lot of fun. Crazy as always because we went to church, Jake's dad's for brunch, then my parents for dinner. Savannah kind of understood the egg hunt this year, she ended up with only about 5 at my parents house while the other girls had about 20, but we decided to donate our 5 to the one who had the next to least amount.
Savannah still walks around with her Easter bucket, her favorite filling being the pebbles in the driveway.
I did actually accomplish something in the past month. I finally made one set of curtains for my kitchen. I've had the fabric forever, but I hate making curtains.
I've also been working on a quiet book for my Nephew Truett who's birthday party was last weekend. Of course I didn't finish in time, but he doesn't know the difference. I have 4 pages so far and once I put it together I will take pictures.
Here's the surprise! It's also the reason for the slacking on my projects and the long time between posts.
We're having another baby. It is due on November 4, 2013 and yes we are crazy.
How quickly we forget how tough it was for the first 6 months of Savannah's life when the baby bug bites again.
Updates so far:
I have felt like crap since the first month, went all of last week only eating Popsicles and skipping/sleeping through most of my meals, watched a ton of TV and made a good size dent on my couch.
I had off from work 2 weeks ago and Savannah ended up having a stomach flu the whole week, the next week I attempted to go to work but thought I had the stomach flu. I'm pretty sure there was more to it than morning sickness.
I made it through work this week but had to sit down a lot and today after my 2, 12 hour work days I am having a lot of unusual pains.
My favorite midwives quit and now I don't know who to go to.
I know I sound like a big baby but I never had any sickness or problems with Savannah.
10 weeks and counting!
Jenny, Congratulations on having a baby! Savannah will finally be a big sister! I have something sad to say.. My dog Georgie passed away today. We all miss him. Frannie
